Preschoolers Enjoy Weekly Visits from Special Friends

Students Are Always Excited When Rose and Priscilla
Come To Visit

Wednesday is that day that the West Midland Family Center (WMFC) Preschoolers look forward to a very special treat.

Each week, special friends Rose and Priscilla, visit the preschool class room to read another fun and fascinating storybook. Stories can be about far and distant lands, princesses saved by a prince or new little creatures who are friendly and funny. Makes no difference what the story is about, the children are always fully engaged in whatever book Rose and Priscilla bring to share.

"The children are always very excited to see Rose come through the door," explained Wendy Plewa, WMFC preschool teacher. "They ask everyday, "Is this the day that Rose comes?", or they ask, "Is Rose here yet?" ".

Rose and Priscilla have been coming to the WMFC preschool classroom to read for many, many years now. The heart that they have for the children does not go unnoticed or unappreciated. "We appreciate their enthusiasm and the wonderful literacy experience that they give to the children each week," stated Plewa.

Thank you Rose and Priscilla for making a difference in the lives of our little ones!
