Greendale Senior Center

What is the Greendale Senior Center?
senior Services leases space at the West Midland Family Center for one of it's six senior centers throughout the county. It is a place for seniors to gather for various activities and to enjoy lunch Monday through Friday.

Activities at the Center
A wide variety of activities go on each week. Things such as euchre and other games, walking and exercise, music and dancing, crafts, blood pressure clinics, health education and more. Check our Senior Independence News or the Senior Services website for more information, or call the center director at 832-8683 for more information.

Senior Lunch
A healthy, delicious meal is served every weekday between 12:00 and 12:30 PM. Seniors age 60 and over, are asked to make a contribution. Those under 60 are asked to pay the full cost of the meal. Reservations are needed by 9:00 AM on the day you will be attending and can be made by calling 832-8683.

Senior lunches contain many of the important vitamins and minerals needed for good health. A registered dietician has reviewed the nutritional content of all of the meals to be sure that we are meeing the needs of most seniors. For those following special diets, there is specific information available for each meal to assist you in making choices.

Meals on Wheels
The Meals on Wheels are available for those 60 and over who are basically homebound and are unable to prepare meals on a regular basis. Like the noon meals, there is a requested donation. Meals are delivered to eligible seniors, Monday through Friday throughout the county. For information on how to obtain Meals on Wheels, please call Senior Services at 633-3700. >
