General Information

Building Hours
The Center has varying building hours, depending on the season. Typically the Center is open Monday thru Saturday.
Monday thru Thursday from 7:30 AM until 8:00 PM
Friday from 7:30 AM until 6:00 PM
Saturday from 12:00 PM until 10:00 PM.

The Center is open on most Sundays, November through March. Sunday hours are usually from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM. It is suggested that you call ahead to confirm building hours and insure that the building is open.

The Center is usually closed on Good Friday, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Years Day. It is usually closed after 4:00 PM on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.

General Rules and Policies
The West Midland Family Center belongs to the patrons who frequent the center. We all take great pride in our beautiful facility.

Visitors are expected to treat our facility, our equipment, and our staff and volunteers with respect. All visitors are expected to abide by the rules, policies and procedures of the West Midland Family Center when they visit. Questions regarding WMFC rules and policies should be addressed to Diane DeMott.

Adult Supervision of Children
To ensure the safety of our young children during "drop in" activities, children in second grade and younger, must be directly supervised by an adult, at all times, in all parts of the building, including the pool and lockerroom areas.

Facility Rental
We do rent out the center facilities for community use when possible. Rentals are dependent on room availability.

The dining room and kitchen can be reserved up to two months in advance by completing a Room Reservation Form. Confirmations will not be given until deposit and payment are made.

The gymnasium and batting cage can be reserved by calling or emailing Renee Allen. All proper paperwork must be in place and all fees must be paid, before the rental can be confirmed and approved.

Gym and Batting Cage Rentals that have been made more than one week in advance must be cancelled at least one week in advance to receive a full refund. Gym Rentals made less than one week in advance, must be cancelled at least 24 hours beforehand to receive a full refund.

Cancellations of less than 24 hours for all rental reservations, will be charged the full amount.

There is also an additional hourly charge of $10.00 per hour for facility rentals that do not take place during normal operating hours and for groups who require additional WMFC staffing to set up and take down equipment for their rental.
