American Red Cross-Provides courses in First Aid,
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Water Safety. Also provides services to military families,
aid in family burnouts, first aid facilities at public events, bicycle safety courses and other
safety programs such as Safety Town for preschoolers.

developmentally disabled into the community through participation in social and recreational
classes and clubs.
Arnold Center-Attempts to normalize

The Midland County Emergency Food Pantry Network
(EFPN) is a non-profit, tax exempt charitable organization established in 1983 as a cooperative
effort of area churches and other organizations to provide food and supplies to people in Midland
County who have emergency needs and are living near or below the Federal poverty level income guidelines.
Girl Scouts - Mitten Bay Council
- The Mitten Bay Girl Scout Council brings programs to over 9,500 girls in 21 counties
in Michigan. These programs are a positive influence in the lives of these girls. These
programs encourage community service and good citizenship and develop a positive self-image
and the drive to achieve.
Hidden Harvest

Provides bedside care and home health aides for ill and handicapped in their own homes. Provides
"respite" relief for those homebound in caring for others, and homemaker services. Provides a

Safe and sound Child Protection and Advocacy-
The Safe & Sound Child Advocacy Center provides a refuge and a voice for abused and neglected
children. Established by concerned community members in 1979 as the Midland County Child Protection
Council, our board includes a wide range of community volunteers, including representatives from
law enforcement, the prosecuting attorney's office, family service organizations, education and
other government agencies.

Ten-Sixteen Treatment Centers-Provides both residential
and outpatient substance abuse counseling. The goal of the program is to offer services to empower
individuals to end use of harmful chemical substances. Programs for both adults and adolescents
are offered.
