Introducing DASH to WMFC

A new tool designed to simplify communication, registration, and support services for families across West Midland Family Center programs.

DASH will help strengthen and improve services,
not replace the personal relationships that make WMFC special!

Two women sit and converse in an office or waiting room with a laptop and pamphlets on a desk. A sign reads 'DASH by DaySmart' and 'improving access at West Midland Family Center'.

At West Midland Family Center, relationships and community connections are at the heart of everything we do. As our programs continue to grow and evolve, we are introducing DASH — a secure online platform that will help families access services more easily while helping WMFC continue meeting the changing needs of our community.

Over time, DASH will help simplify registration, communication, scheduling, and program participation across many areas of the Center.

What is DASH?

DASH is a secure online platform that helps WMFC organize registrations, communication, scheduling, participation records, and other important information in one place.

As DASH becomes integrated into programs and services, families may be able to:

  • Register for programs online

  • Receive reminders and updates

  • Manage household information

  • Make payments securely

  • Access schedules and registrations more conveniently

  • Communicate more easily with staff

The goal is to make processes simpler and more connected while allowing staff to spend more time supporting children, families, and individuals instead of completing paperwork.

Your Privacy Matters

WMFC takes the privacy of our
families and patrons seriously.

Information entered into DASH will only be accessed by authorized staff members who need the information to support programs and services. WMFC will never publicly share personal or individually identifiable information.

Some information may be used in aggregate form for:

  • Grant reporting

  • Program planning

  • Measuring community impact

  • Seeking funding to continue and expand services

This means reports may show overall trends or totals, such as how many families participated in a program or the ages of those served.

Individual children, adults, or families will never
be identified in funding requests or reports.

Why data helps WMFC and how we serve the community

By helping WMFC better understand:

  • who we are serving,

  • what services are most needed,

  • where gaps exist,

  • and how programs are making a difference.

DASH data strengthens our ability to:

  • secure funding,

  • sustain programs,

  • expand services,

  • and respond to changing community needs.

Many grants and funding opportunities today require organizations to demonstrate measurable community impact. Better information helps WMFC continue adapting and growing alongside the families and individuals we serve.
